One of the benefits of being in a right relationship with the LORD is that we have access to some of the positive things of life. The promise of positive things in life is as the Lord Jesus Christ said: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
We do not claim that the following links will lead you directly to the type of abundant life that Jesus provides. However, as he noted in the parable of the talents, the LORD calls to invest our resources, so that we can deliver a return to the LORD. Our most precious talent is our time. Exchanging our time, as service, for a certain return for our efforts, is how we get what we need, in most cases. Of course, in the ultimate sense, it is as the apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians: but God gave the increase. In all things, we must always keep this in mind.
We must also remember that the first priority of the disciple of Christ, is to be ready to provide spiritual service in the world, in the circumstance of life that Christ described for his disciples, as recorded in the book of John (15:17-21), in the Bible.
These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
In the spirit of submission to the final will of God, and not as an attempt to force a certain result, from a certain level of effort, we have gathered this information for you. These are sites that we have found useful. They help us to focus our talents on the development of some portions of the sustenance that we need, in this world. Please review them, in the Spirit. Again, please keep in mind the place of service that any one of us may be called to, in the LORD, as stated in this principle, as recorded in the book of John (17:11-15), in the Bible. This principle is a key one among those that must govern our conduct in the world.
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
